I am once again lucky to get such a nice friend with whom we travelled a lot.
This blog is all about our (Kulkarni + Iyer = Kulkiyer )'s travel experience .
It all started with my Wildlife Conservation project for British Council Award in our School for which I wanted to visit few Wildlife Sanctuaries. so we started our first journey to Kutta located in South Coorg .
Its fun to travel with my friend Prabha. So here we gooooooooooo..............

Then we went to Irpu falls. Santhu was actually suffering from eye infection due to which it was difficult for him to drive. But he got nice herbal treatment in Irpu. After having a chilling shower in Irpu his eye infection disappeared . Then we thought, its good be with nature than in urban place. Irpu Falls is situated along with Bramhagiri Wildlife Sanctuary .
Our homestay was admist the coffee estate with large area for camp fire. We had lots of fun in the campfire with good number of people. We played rocking music from the car and Chammi enjoyed a lot.
Next day we planned to visit Waynad - Kerala as Kutta is Coorg - Kerala border . The route was amazing. Thick dense forest everywhere. We visited Tirunelly temple and guess what we had a host waiting for us . Two Elephants passed our way.....
We then decided to go to Eddakal caves. If you are a Kannadiga you might have seen a movie by name ಎಡಕ್ಕಲ್ ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಮೇಲೆ starring Jayanthi . This was the shooting spot for that movie. Its an ancient monument where in Early Man has written some scripts. There are caves to which we need to climb and go and little bit tough if you are not used to trekking. The caves are situated on the top and it is said that early man lined there to protect themselves from wild animals.
Finally next day we went to a tea estate and returned to Bangalore via Gonikoppa where in we took nice Filter coffee powder , Masala Powder and other spices. If you are a coffee lover dont forget to buy coorg coffee powder.
